Isabella's story

Update 1/28: Got the results and it is Spindle Cell Sarcoma. She had surgery to remove several lumps. 2 were benign but the very fast growing one was that.

Just found out last night that our Bella has cancer. What they said so far was Soft Tissue Sarcoma but not sure yet. She has several lumps that appeared. One over the summer but it wasn't an issue at her checkup. A large one appeared almost overnight, within the last few weeks. It swelled up then went down. Now it is back and grew rapidly so I mentioned it to her vet at a dental appointment and got slides run on it.
The lump is on her side over her ribs. She was also diagnosed with a heart murmur last night.

Isabella's owner Bella's stitches are almost healed. I had to pick up a cone for her because she pulled some stitches out and had a big gaping hole in her leg! It looks much better now. The neck and rib incisions look fine. The hardest part was trying to keep this little high strung Rat Terrier from playing the first few days. My other dog kept play biting her and was horrified when he made her neck incision bleed!

Ginger's owner So sorry to hear. What's your plan for Isabella? (great name and photo, by the way... beautiful eyes). She's so young! There's much you can do naturally to support her health. Please ask questions and read stories. We're here to help. ~Rosemary

Isabella's owner Bella has surgery Tuesday and I am trying diet change and supplements. Does anyone use colloidal silver?

Ginger's owner I have used colloidal silver. But I'll ask why you want to use it for Bella. It can have a good result with bacterial infections, in some cases. However, as a holistic approach to diet colloidal silver would not be my first choice.

Isabella's owner I have some probiotics for her teeth, not sure what brand but they come in a powder to sprinkle in her food. She had to have 7 teeth pulled the day she was diagnosed despite flossing & brushing. Our other dog doesn't have any problems with his. I've also started fish oil.
