Marco's story

Marco has been a healthy dog until Nov.2010, He was notice to have wet bedding every night and urge unrination. I took him to the vet, ran blood test, urine test nothing was found abnormal. He continue to have the problem, and continue to be eval by vet, trying to find out what's going on. Until the morning of 5/3, he suddenly collapsed during his morning walk, we rush to the vet and found out he has a fever and some kind of infection going on, Then the vet felt his belly and feels that something is abnormal, an ultralsound then performed and confirmed that Marco has the cancer and it has spread to his liver, spleen, peritoneum(lining of his abdominal cavity) and his sacral bone area. I wa told he has only weeks to month to live. I wish I could have found this out earlier so treatment may begin.

Cancer fighting tip from Marco's owner Tracey T.

Stop feeding commercial dog food, and filter their drinking water!

Jake's owner Just read your email; have been traveling a lot and my twins just graduated from 2 different schools, so you can imagine! Jake had a visit to Angell Memorial Hospital in Boston where he has chemo; he has NO cancer detectable at the moment! How they phrased it was something like this: 'the cancer cannot be detected; he still HAS cancer and it won't be cured, but the body scan and other lab work show no sign of cancer'. This has been the case consistently each time he's had scans, lab work, etc. - going back to Thanksgiving. In fact, right after he was diagnosed, I'd doubted that he even HAD the cancer because he always seemed energetic and healthy, so I actually insisted that the original hospital send the slides to a completely different lab to confirm the Hemangiosarcoma; which they too, confirmed he had. Where the cancer is, nobody knows. But Jake is quite energetic, quite active, quite the same dog; has not lost weight (actually gained...), and shows no signs of slowing down. I contribute all of this to a little bit of everything; chemo (which I'd been firmly against at the beginning), Essiac Tea, Hunnan Pao and all the supplements, vitamins, exercise, care, love, and support that he's been given every single day. His diet is pure meat and veggies; absolutely no carbs, no junk, no biscuits. treats are cheese squares or something similar. And, all positive thoughts and visualization. Hey, it's working so far, so I'm not changing anything at the moment. Each day has been a blessing and a miracle and I know that. I'm going to post this info on the community wall as well. Good luck, keep us/me posted!

RCi - www.adobeangel.com's owner Read about Marco and I agree with Jake's owner sounds like Marco might have hemangiosarcoma. I would like for you to read about RCi and go to her website of www.adobeangel.com RCi was given 2-3 months and we supplementally treated her and she had no tumor removal, no chemo or radiation and lived a quality of life for 34 months. Also on our web site is a page on dealing with cancer with your fur kid. Since we can't communicate to them what cancer is about, these are helpful tips in how you as a fur kid parent can take your power back and be apart of fighting back against this awful disease. It is all about getting a ton of antioxidants in the body to build the immune system. And just to let you know at the same time we were dealing with RCi's cancer, my mother-in-law was going through ovarian cancer. The two of them are my angel heroines that have guided me to share our story and touch others to give them hope. My contact information is on our website. I invite any to please to please feel free to contact us. Think positively - for our fur kids it is mind over matter they just want to make us happy that is their mission in our lives!

Jake's owner So, so sorry to read about Marco. Not sure if I can help at all, but our Jake was diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma last Thanksgiving and the vet also told US that he only had 2-3 months to live. We put him on meat/veggies/purified water, he's on chemo and also supplements. if you want to email me; my home email is petersrockport@comcast.net and my home phone is 978-546-7251; i'm on the east coast and I get home around 5:45 p.m. - i'd be happy to share with you what I've learned from others on this site plus reading various books and talking to others. If he has hemangiosarcoma (and maybe even if he doesn't....?/i'm thinking it might not hurt....??) to put him on the Chinese Herb Hunnan Paio and Essiac Tea and Fish oil right away. In any case, I'm not the expert, but I definitely can share what successes our dog Jake has had. He has no indication of slowing down; doesn't look sick, doesn't act sick, is the ever-loving and ever-energetic dog he used to be. It's worth a try. Again, feel free to contact me if you'd like; if i can help anyone with just a bit of advice, i'd be happy to. Knowledge is power. Keep your chin up, don't give up....for Marco's sake, keep plugging away at helping him; stay 'positive' as much as possible; enjoy each moment with him. Rosemary is very helpful and very knowledgeable; she was the first person i called when I found this website; she's very educated in all of this. Call her for sure and if i can help too, feel free to call me. Good luck and we'll keep Marco in our thoughts and prayers. Don't give up. Believe.

Ginger's owner It's too familiar a story for many people... can't find anything until they discover something really big. Marco's a beautiful dog! You're doing wonderful things for Marco! Keep up the good work. I may be able to help. Consider detox and high potency nutrition, energy healing to name a few. Rosemary@RosemarysSolutions.com
